Hello:

My DIP Classic with 96K Upsampler pre-installed arrived this week, and I just wanted to send you a note with my review:
As with adding anything new to a system, it causes re-evaluation and experimentation with interconnects, power cables and
digital connections to and from the unit.
So, at this point, I am hearing a smoother more rounded sound with added refinement and decay.
I am still working towards a bit more extension and air and have a few more combinations to try.

I liked the DIP so much that I didn't want to remove it from one system to try it on several others,
so I ordered a second one from Microwise.  A good product at a good price.

Any thoughts that you may have regarding how, in your experience, the DIP responds to several days of burn-in would be welcome,
as would your thoughts on how the unit responds to or needs power conditioning.

Also, any thoughts on the differences that have you noticed using an AES/EBU digital cable rather than S/PDIF with the DIP Classic
would be appreciated as well.

Thank You,
David

Hi,
Thanks for your help....the balanced cable is a great improvement over the digital rca.....
I have to say that of all the products I've purchased for my system over the the last ten years
the DIP dollar for dollar is easily the best value. It's a superb product.

Thanks.
Joe

Dear Sir,

I am happy to inform you that on Monday all of a sudden significant
progress was made by FedEx: the unit arrived - via Paris - at Frankfurt,
around midnight. It was delivered to my doorstep the next morning. The
package was undamaged. When unpacking I heard a small rattle coming from
inside the box. I opened the unit and found a loose screw. I have
attached the screw from the outside to the point at the centre of the
board (I could find no other logical place for it). The device is now in
use and driving my DAC happily, and very much so indeed (the unit sits
in between an Apple Macintosh and a Luxman DA-07 Fluency DAC). I am most
pleased with the sonic result.

Many thanks and best regards,

Richard van Holtz

Dear Ming:

The Monarchy Audio DIP Classic arrived in good order.  Thanks!
I can clearly hear the difference between "with DIP" and "without
DIP."   The 3-D effect is truly amazing!
Thank you very much for the great product.
Sincerely yours,
Masayuki   (Tokyo, Japan)

Hi,
I picked up the Classic Wed.  It sounds much better than the 24/96.

Good Day,
I have recently purchased a DIP Classic and I am thoroughly impressed with
the improvement it made when placed in my TEAC VRDS-T1/D-T1 combo.

Dear C.C. Poon,
once again I want to thank You:
the DIP CLASSIC is a really good product and has improved the sound of my audio system.
You know that  I have a lot of DIPs: superDIP, 24/96, upsampler and the new CLASSIC.
Everyone improves the sound in my audio system and everyone makes it sound a little different;but the CLASSIC is just the one i prefer.
My 33 dac still makes a good job, but let me know when You"ll introduce a new DAC.
Best regards

Dear people of Monarchy Audio,

I just wanted to thank you for your kindness in sending me a new DIP Classic
when you found that my 24/96 DIP could not be repaired. I love the new DIP,
it is clearly an improvement over my old one. Even though I have a high end
system, I actually didn't want to listen to it without the DIP in place... I
had gotten used to the punch, clarity and spaciousness that the DIP
brings, and it was too depressing to listen without it.
I have owned several Monarchy products and have always found them to be of
high quality for a very reasonable price. I will continue to promote your products
to other audio enthusiasts.

Thank you again,

Matthew Bush

Regarding the CLASSIC DIP:
(It's OK to print or post the statment below - it's brief & true).

Having used Monarchy DIPS since they were first available, I odrered the
new CLASSIC so that I could keep up with the latest technology. I "linked"
it after the 24/96 DIP already in service & immediatly heard a startling
improvement that seemed like a major component (s)upgrade. It exceeded my
highest expectations.
