How to Connect Bi-amping with SE-100 Basic/SE-100 Delux


There are several advantages in Bi-amping:

a) The power to the speaker is doubled.
b) Each amp now handles only part of the total frequency spectrum,
    resulting in lower inter-modulation distortion. Hence cleaner sound.
c) Dramatic improvement in Soundstaging, separation of instruments
    and dynamic range.

 
1) Single Wire Bi-Amp

    Using one RCA cable from the Preamp to drive two SE-100's.
    A special XLR Cable(Male-to-Male) must be used for Amp-to-Amp
    connection. 3 ft Cable available from MONARCHY at $29.- each.

    Please Note for simplicity the Cross-over of the Speaker is
    omitted. The Output from the SE-100 should be connected to
    the HI or LOW section of the speaker terminals respectively.
 
2) Single Wire XLR Bi-amp

    This configuration uses only one XLR(Balanced) cable from the preamp.
    Any RCA interconnect can be used for the amp-to-amp interconnect.
