Super Heavy gauge (0.09 inch) all aluminum chassis. Accepts opto. RCA coaxial or XLR balanced digital inputs. Proprietary VARI-LOCK circuitry opens wide a “digital window” to capture the incoming signal then the PLL (Phase Lock Loop) narrows down to ignore jitter around the signal source (the “digital windows” closes), resulting in the best sound quality through this decoding technology. Top K-Grade Burr-Brown 20-bit D/A converter outputs to a super high-speed current-to-voltage converter (2500 v/µS Slew Rate) outperforming the best analog LP. Phase Coherent GIC filter that passes the audio signal through a straight wire. 30-step audiophile grade volume control. LINE AMP accepts two external signal sources: provides 14 or 20 dB of gain (user selectable) Pure Class A Line Amp outputs 150 mA (capable of driving cables up to 1000ft. or any dynamic headphones). Line Amp uses Monarchy’s exclusive Buffer-with-Gain Technology simple, elegant and virtually distortion free.
